Catalina Crunch is dubiously a "keto" cereal, if you really do need to keep under 50 g carb a day (let alone 30), but they're respectably low-carb, have the allure of mimicking traditional sugar-bomb breakfast cereals, and aren't as expensive as some of the competitors. Plus they aren't as insanely high in saturated fat, which whatever some Keto Kultists will tell you will elevate most people's LDL particle number and drive atherosclerosis. It's really very tasty, stays satisfyingly crunchy-yieldy in milk (some of the others get soggy very quickly, or have the permanent texture of Malted Milk balls), and when you're done you get to slurp up the leftover chocolatey milk. And I prefer this Chex/Life/Cinnamon Toast Crunch format to the puff format of most low-carb cereals, or the Rice Krispies-ish format of HighKey.I'm especially a fan of the Peanut Butter Cup, which is funny because I never ate Peanut Butter Cup, cereal as a kid. Some reviewers complain that they can't taste the PB. I don't know if Catalina has maybe subsequently reformulated, or if these people got a bad batch, or if these people all had COVID and couldn't taste anything, but the PB taste is quite distinct: I actually mix together PB cup and chocolate roughly 60-40, or else there's TOO MUCH PB flavor! The Dark Chocolate is also excellent. They slightly missed the mark with the Mint Chocolate Chip: first, it's uniformly one color and flavor, unlike the eponymous ice cream, and second the texture is a bit off, like there was a little bit of cardboard in the mix.I haven't tried the Fruity flavor; I also have intentionally avoided the Cinnamon Toast and Honey Graham, whose sugary originals I actively disliked as a kid.I do wish they'd lower the sodium, but that's one complaint in an overall satisfying product. This is excellent stuff. Only, I found it at the local store for a dollar cheaper and on sale for two dollars cheaper. The item doesn't stay on the shelves for long, so sometimes Amazon is to only way to go; if you are hooked on the stuff.Something to try: I mix the crunch with blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and sugar-free whipped cream that is layered between the with Whipped Cream, crunch, barries, WC, Crunch WC, and berries. It is a snack. (good easy on the WC--it can be overwhelming)Found this product at Costco $10 for a 20 oz bag. Of course Costco discontinued it right after i started eating it on a regular basis. I mix it with granola and blueberries for a good breakfast. It has a good flavor and a good amount of protein and fiber. The only problem is the price is almost double what I paid at Costco. The 20 oz bags are even more expensive per oz than these 9 oz bags. I wish I could get a bigger bag for less money per oz.I first tried this cereal because it’s low carb and I’m a diabetic. I was worried about the portion size, I shouldn’t have been. The small portion is enough to get me to lunch. Occasionally I’ll have some fruit mid morning. I’d recommend trying this if you love cereal as much as I do!I really like their cereal except the fruity one. I kind of had thin mints on my mind, but weren't quite there. Needs a stronger taste all around for that. BUT it's still really good. It's a little too expensive.I just really wish I could find larger bags. A serving I'd 1/2cup, but I usually take a full cup, and there's 7 servings. So that's 3.5 bowl I can get from eat bag.Love this cereal! Love that it’s gluten free and sugar free. Tastes great- like Cinnamon Toast Crunch- only better! A half cup serving with almond milk keeps me full for hours. Got 7 servings from the 9 oz package. Well worth it!Although I can purchase Catalina Crunch in my grocery/retail store I could not find these two flavors. They were both ok and so I very much doubt I will spend the extra money in the futureGolden graham's were and are my very favorite cereal and I haven't had them in over 5 years due to being on a low carb eating regimen. I was very skeptical on buying these but I am please!!!! I eat them dry for snacks and eat th of course in a bowl with almond milk!!!! They do taste rather "grahamey"!!! I'll definitly continue to purchase!!!!
