We love the safety features on this car seat! The phone app and the sensor is very effective.The padding in this car seat is so soft and plush I was very impressed! Most car seats don’t seem like they would be that comfortable and make me feel bad when I look back and see my kid struggling to fall asleep in them but that is not the case with this one! The SensorSafe technology on the car seat works amazing it’s definitely a little confusing getting it set up at first but once we got it all figured out we’ve been obsessed. You can only have one caregiver synced to it at a time which is the only thing I don’t agree with… but you can still set up multiple people on the account and switch between caregivers depending on who’s watching the kid at the time by turning your Bluetooth off and letting them sync their phone with the app. The car seat came with the sensor (battery was included for the sensor) and the snap in base which makes it so worth the money!I love how my newborn sits in this car seat. For my first born I had a basic maxi cosi car seat and his head was always children for it and I was always scared he would have trouble breathing in it. With this said the newborn insert is really nice and makes it to where the baby is laying more flat and it looks very comfortable.We got a defective bass that would not latch the car seat. I contacted cybex on a Friday morning via email and provided photos and they sent a replacement base the same day!Didn’t usewithin the first month of having this carseat I started having issues with the carseat locking into the base. Everything else on the carseat worked like the sensor and side impact, but the locking in the base started getting worse. I literally have to shake the carseat side to side now to get it to lock into the base and I even bought another base thinking it was the issue and I still have the same issue. I got this carseat because my son was in a car wreck at two months and I loved how it had the side impact and sense on it, but after getting the carseat I would not recommend it to nobody because of it not wanting to lock into the base. It takes me about 2-5 minutes of moving the carseat around before it locks into the base. To me that is a big safety issue because if the carseat doesn't lock into the base and a wreck happens your Childs carseat will be slung across the car.if your baby is active a lot, the baby can kick the plastic hole and I do not like it. We did not have the problem when my son was 1 month old but now I feel bad because of this. I wish I hadn't the car seat.it is very complicated and it is not worth. It's hard to get my son out and I started to have problem with my hand because of this. I would not recommend it to anyone.We are very excited about this car seat. It is sturdy, safe, and the newborn insert allows for baby to sleep mostly flat. I feel good about keeping baby in the car seat for over an hour.I hate this car seat. In theory it looks great. It’s so hard to get my child in and out of. She’s 6 months old and screamed bloody murder in it the entire car ride until about 2 weeks ago. Now she stopped screaming in it but it’s still very hard to get her in and out. It’s very hard to click her in it while she’s in the seat. We ended up just leaving it in the car and never using it with the stroller. Don’t recommend.
