I really like this storage rack. It looks good and is sturdy. A little harder to assemble but worth the time spent.Just as pictured. The dimensions shown are accurate and it fit perfectly in my space. A lot of the reviews said it came in two boxes, however my came in just one long box. I advise to use a different screwdriver as the one given isn’t the best and I found it was stripping the insert on the screws making it hard to take them out If I made a mistake. Other reviews I read showed the drawers misaligned, make sure your putting them together flush then when inserting it’s a little hard to get them in the right place so play around with it. The instructions are not very clear and only show pictures most without showing which side holes need to be on so use common sense with that. Overall took about 2-3 hours to put together. Serves its purpose though and is extremely sturdy.Living in a closet poor house I refinished a basement room to house a walk-in closet. I ended up using four of these units for a small walk-in closet I built. Instead of putting in permanent units, I opted for these in case down the road I would like to repurpose the room. After assembling 4 of these I averaged about 1 hour for each one over four days. The boxes are very heavy but I was able to drag them down my basement stairs by myself. Positives-very sturdy and once assembled are rock solid. I removed the second shelf on one unit to accommodate my wife's long dress and it still seems stable. Once I put one together, I no longer needed to follow the directions. Of the four units, one of the shelves had a shipping ding in it. Fortunately it was a top shelf and put a little white caulk on it to cover it up. The only complaints that I have is that first, the box had a bunch of leftover styro-foam that small pieces ended up making a bit of mess. Second, the screwdriver that comes with the unit has a poorly designed phillips tip that does not bite properly. (nice to include one but not if it is going to strip the screws you are installing.) Third, you will need a short stubby screwdriver to properly attach the rod part as you are reaching between two metal pieces to affix it. So overall, despite sore hands, these look nice and hopefully will hold up over time.I ordered two, and assembled both on my own. As many others have noted, these organizers come with extremely poor instructions and many believe they've received used or second-hand products. I think that the QC is simply very bad at the factory where these are made, as mine came packaged as new but with various chips, dings, scratches, and bends. For $180 or less, these would be something of a value. At the (current) price of $249 each, you'd be better off with something else unless you're deadset on this style.Assembly: As with lots of KD furniture from China these days, each came with it's own installation tool (in this case, a simple reversible Philips head/cross head screwdriver), and all the necessary hardware along with spares for some parts (but not all). However, the instructions are a joke. A few pages of black and white diagrams from a printer that is clearly in dire need of toner, ink and/or printhead replacement. The pictures are grainy, which isn't helped by the fact that there are several panels that are nearly identical to each other save for a few hole locations. Some diagrams have the hardware plain old mislabeled. TAKE YOUR TIME and look over each digram on every page before you begin assembly. The same piece may be referenced in more than one diagram, so go through all of them to see which screws/bolts go where on each panel, and you should be OK. If you can lift ~50lbs, I see no reason why you could not assemble this on your own. There are some steps where a second set of hands might have helped, but its never absolutely necessary.Cheap Metal: The metal is very thin, especially the cross bar. It won't hold 25lbs without bending very noticeably in the middle. Even tightened down, the entire thing will wobble a few degrees left and right under load, which is disheartening. I will be placing them side by side and I'll use the wall-anchors to secure them together but it's an eyesore.Poor QC: Right after opening each package (two each), I began noticing small triangles of wood-look laminate. They had come off the corners of a few of the panels of each box, I have to assume during transit. Each mesh backing panel had one hanging tab bent. One of the side frames has markings up and down the outward-facing side that can't be removed. I don't blame folks for thinking they got used parts. Obviously, no care is taken when these things are packaged up at the factory.Functionality: Ultimately, the things work. The drawers are not that smooth, but they do close straight and sit flush. I was going to hang motorcycle gear on the crossbars but will save them instead for normal shirts and pants.Color: noticeably lighter than the "rustic brown" that appears in current product photos. I wish Tribesigns would use more consistent wood grain looks and colors across their products.I can't recommend these organizers at $249, or even at $200.This overall is a great product sturdy and good for a smaller room that needs closet space and you can use it for hanging clothes and some drawers for storage as well as an upper tier to place items on.It was painful to build but not really that hard only problem is the rails came with one set that had the ball bearings that fell out....well this just made my life difficult putting the rails on evenly overall wasn't the easiest and the manufacturer did try to go out of there way to help me. Overall, I ended up not using the rails for the drawers and they still worked out....I did get a partial refund as well for that issue.4 outta 5 stars is like 80% to me I would say it was still worth buying since I still am able to utilize the drawers and everything else is good about this unit.I love this thang.Great product. Sturdy. Little bit on the high side as for cost but it’s well worth it.Very good and nice design. Heavy duty.
